“It seems we have a very big problem ongoing on the islands of French Polynesia, and from the data that we are slowly uncovering we will be addressing this issue with the French Government “as a matter of extreme urgency”, as little is being done to stop this now increasing trade. Over the past few weeks we have been researching the trade but didn’t realize just how prolific the problem was. Yesterday we wrote a brief article relating to the French Polynesia dog meat trade, but never really discovered “sufficient evidence that would open this trade up to the public”. The video of course shows just what we’re up against.

The video herein clearly details just how brazen this ‘banned trade is’. France banned the dog meat trade over four decades ago, yet its still going on. Why on earth the French Government are not taking this seriously we don’t know. The video clearly shows dogs being caught, with some bagged up then drowned. They carcasses are then hung from a tree, are then skinned, and their meat is processed. DESPITE the trade being banned – shops are seen in the video selling the meat to locals for dog meat and vegetable stew.

Back in 2015 a local on the island was caught up-loading an image of a dog he killed, then set about to process that meat for consumption. Today we have contacted animal welfare on the island of which stated the trade is “still ongoing with little let up”. The French Government have one of two options to now halt this trade once and for all. 1. Halt it, or 2. There will be uproar within the French community once we share further evidence.

Please help us end this horrifying and brutal FRENCH DOG MEAT TRADE TODAY! Please contact us for further information. ”

L 214 an association for the protection of animals, that combats for the abolishment of factory farms and slaughterhouses has published a couple of days ago some new images of a battery egg-farm where chickens have been found dead, full of maggots and fleas….. The farm has been closed down  instantly. The prefect has ordered the culling of all the animals.
